Another fantastic Medway based band, we've been playing Philtrum for a while on XRPRadio, with a few lineup changes and therefore slight style changes, Philtrum have really grown as a band and developed into a fantastic punk/alternative rock sound that is refined near perfection.

Some kind of punk - Non-traditional melodic cacophany


Since the early 90's i have wanted to get a band together, but finding people that would commit to ideas i had, and with the whole 'growing up' thing it never worked, but along the way i made loads of friends in and around Maidstone.

In 2011 with help from a good friend (James) on drums, and finding a perfect bassplayer via a website (Gavyn) we are coming together like a treat!

Within this year i think i have achieved alot with my music, and now we are a band at last we are writing songs at a healthy rate, and are full of enthusiasm.

We have recorded 2 EP's now, and have had a year of gigging. All is going great.

In 2013 we now have a NEW Bassplayer (Leo) and look forward to a year of gigging and hopefully an album to be released at the end of the summer!!
